May play a role in the regulation of hemostasis. The soluble form may have inhibitory properties towards coagulation factors. May interact with cellular G-protein signaling pathways. Inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin, factor XIA and plasma and glandular kallikrein.
